Christos Alexopoulos

Biography

Composer and solo recording artist since 1999. He is also composing music for the theatre, performance arts and short film since 1994.
His most recent work for the theatre is the music and songs of the production “I Kreatopita”, a musical monologue theatre play, written and directed by Angeliki Darlasi and performed by the actor and singer Fani Gemtou (2024-2024, Railway Carriage Theater “To Treno sto Rouf”).
As a music supervisor he works for TV since 2009.
In 2024 he composed the soundtrack (including the opening titles theme) of the crime mystery TV series “Mavroi Pinakes” (“Black Paintings: – STAR TV, Greece).
As a producer he co-produced the album “Speaking of Secrets” by Playground Theory (2013), the debut album of the rock group “Psylloi st’Ahyra (2018), the debut album “Fragmenta” by Niki Tavoulari (2023). Also he has produced all the albums of Maria Latsinou & Mokita on which he has written most of the songs, too (“Mia Anasa Dromos” 2015, “Mia Anasa Meta” Live at Ilion Plus 2017, “Larymna” 2018).
He’s the founder and label manager of the record label “Puzzlemusik”. He composes Chamber music and Orchestra pieces since 1998. Some of them were performed in Italy, Ukraine, Portugal and Greece. Since 2010 he’s coordinating and teaching on the “Songwriting Workshop” held in the Orfeio Conservatorium (Athens, Greece). He’s teaching Theory of Music and Harmony in the same conservatorium since 2001.
