Ntinos Manos
Biography
Ntinos Manos is a bass player, composer and educator. Since 2020 he lives and works in Thessaloniki as a member of the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra. He is a member of The Next Step Quintet / The Next Step Quartet one of the most highly acclaimed jazz groups in Greece. The group is currently in hiatus.
Ntinos Manos counts many collaborations with international jazz artists such as Sheila Jordan, Gilad Atzmon, Ralph Peterson jr, David Kikoski, Tivon Pennicott, Jean Toussaint Manfred Schoof, J.D. Walter, Kevin Mahogany, Laurent Maur, Craig Bailey, Graig Handy, Jay Clayton, Eric Ineke and Shachar Elnatan.
Besides being a very highly acclaimed and greatly appreciated musician of the Greek Jazz Music Scene, he has also performed with many famous artists of the Greek music scene, outside the realm of jazz, such as Maraveyas, Filippos Pliatsikas, Babis Stokas, Christos Thivaios, Elli Paspala, Nikos Xydakis, Maria Papageorgiou, Orfeas Peridis, Savina Yannatou, Yiota Negka, Marina Satti, Katerina Duske and others. “The Lost Eagle” is the first single out of his forthcoming album “Northwind” which is due for release next fall, on Puzzlemusik label.
