Treefon Lazos

Biography

Eighteen years in Naousa, eight in Athens and nine in Manchester. Music made us journey around the globe and now is bringing us back to Athens.
Treefon Lazos was one of the original members of the band Old House Playground with whom they have released three albums and toured all around the blues bars of the UK, performed in France, Greece and Spain. He has collaborated with Vini Reilly (The Durutti Column), Natassa Bofiliou, Charlie T, and has written the soundtrack for the documentary “The Road to Sparta” together with Andreas Venetantes.
“Report” is the title of his first solo album in his native language, which is going to be released on the 20th of March, 2019 through Puzzlemusik. The songs were written while he was living at a fairy house by the lake of Chorlton Waterpark, in Manchester UK. The recordings took place at White Studio with Greggy K being the producer.
