Duo Choriambus – Dialogues

The second release in the W series*. Duo Choriambus is the result of a long and fruitful cooperation of two distinguished musicians: Nikos Nikopoulos, principal flute of the Greek National Opera Orchestra and Georgia Xagara principal harp of the Athens State Orchestra. Works of Claude Debussy, Pierre Octave Ferroud, Camille Saint-Saëns Theodore Antoniou, Nestor Taylor and Apostolos Darlas appear on their debut album. Fascinating dialogues between French and Greek composers, between the established and the promising, the old and the new, the French tradition and the contemporary Greek artistry, the harp and the flute.
