MK O – Blues for the White Nigger

Puzzlemusik welcomes MK-O in its roaster. This is the their third album (first in Puzzlemusik) by the duet which consists by Marina Kanavaki and Oannes (aka Socratis Papahatzis) which comes two and a half years after their double album Unreel.
It is a concept album, contemporary (in the sense that it is inspired by and refers to today) made by timeless material such as blues, (white) funk, through the special, individual, progressive perspective of MK-O.
Blues for the White Nigger is more extrovert than their previous albums with sparks of electronic funk (Blackface), blues hues (White Nigger Blue) and very strong potential singles (Star with no name).
